I AM Author
Develop your identity, thinking and confidence as an author and authority.
You have expertise worth sharing. I AM Author supports the person behind the book, helping you explore how you think about your work, express your perspective and step into your role as its author.
This work can come before or during your book project. Begin with a free 30-minute Clarity Call to discuss the support that would be useful for you.

The author is part of the book’s foundation
A manuscript can organise what you know. Becoming its author also means deciding how you want to contribute, which ideas you stand behind and how confidently you can express them.
I AM Author makes space for that development alongside the practical work of creating a book. It starts with your perspective and the role you want your expertise to play, rather than expecting you to arrive with a polished author identity.
You may be preparing for your first book, finding your voice during a project or reconsidering what being an author means for your wider work. We discuss your starting point and agree a focus that fits.
Three connected areas of development
The work centres on the author’s identity, thinking and confidence. The emphasis is shaped around the questions you want to work through, rather than a fixed set of sessions.
Your identity as an author
Explore how your experience, values and point of view inform the author you want to become. Clarify the contribution you want to make and the relationship between your professional identity and your book.
The thinking behind your work
Give attention to the ideas you want to share and the perspective that makes them yours. Explore how you articulate your thinking and what you want readers to understand, question or change as a result.
Confidence in your contribution
Work through the questions that affect how you show up as an author and authority. Build a clearer sense of the contribution you can make, with support fitted to your experience and priorities.
Before or during your book project
I AM Author can support you before book planning begins or alongside a book already in progress. You do not need a finished manuscript to explore it.
How it connects
Book planning focuses on the reader, purpose and structure of the book. Ghostwriting and editing develop the manuscript. I AM Author focuses on you as its author and can sit alongside that work.
A tailored proposal
We discuss your goals and the support you need, then set out the agreed focus, format, deliverables, responsibilities, timings and investment. Book production and other specialist support are included only where agreed.
Your next step
Book a Clarity Call and tell us where you are in your author journey. You do not need to know exactly which service you need before speaking with us.

Author testimonials
Authors share their experiences of working with WBR and putting their books to use. These accounts span different stages of their projects and reflect individual outcomes.
2 years ago I went on a book writing boot camp with Georgia. Without this structure and considered start I would not have been able to create my first book. Her approach and knowledge in getting my idea into a framework set the direction and I’m forever grateful. It took me a while and some collaborations to finally complete. But now done! I have already recommended a number of people to Georgia and I will continue to do so. Smart, structured and caring.

It is a bit early to say, but so far the book has generated us 21 referrals in 3 months, of which 6 have already had or are booked in to have initial meetings. So I’d say that’s a pretty good start as we know that even if no others booked, and no other referrals arrive, which I do expect them to, we are likely to generate around £50,000 of fees this year from these 6 new prospective clients.
