Plan: Every Bestselling Book Starts With Clarity

The Plan stage is where you define your core message, understand your ideal reader, and create the book structure that will carry your ideas confidently through writing, publishing, and long-term use.

At Write Business Results, planning isn’t a formality. It’s the strategic engine that ensures your book is:

✔ Purposeful.
✔ Finishable.
✔ And positioned for impact.

Instead of guessing what to write next, you start with a proven, repeatable book planning framework that removes uncertainty, reduces wasted effort, and gives you a clear roadmap before a single chapter is written.

Why Planning Matters

Most authors don’t get stuck because they lack content; they get stuck because they don’t have a plan to get it out of their heads and into a draft.

With a strong plan:

✔ Drafting becomes easier and faster.
✔ Editing becomes smoother.
✔ Your story and IP become clearer.
✔ Your book is more commercially focused.
✔ You stay connected to your book's promise.

Planning is the single biggest indicator of whether a book gets published and whether it delivers results for the author.

We help you get clear early so you avoid wasted time, overwhelm, and endless rewrites. You start confident and stay confident.

What You’ll Walk Away With

During the Plan stage, we work closely with you to:

Define your core message
Clarify what your book is truly about, why it matters, and what promise it makes to your reader.

Specify your ideal reader
Understand exactly who the book is for, what they need, and how your message helps them.

Connect your commercial goals
A book is an authority asset; we help you define how you intend to use it to grow your brand, credibility, and business.

Turn messy ideas into a structured outline
We capture your topics, themes, and experience, and organise them into a logical, compelling flow that becomes your book’s roadmap.

Create your tailored talking or writing plan
We turn your structure into a tailored content plan so your first draft becomes paint by numbers. You simply answer the right questions — whether you’re speaking, writing, or using existing material. It’s designed to be foolproof, with the craft and polish added later through editorial expertise.

Build momentum before writing begins (or continues)
We agree a drafting schedule that fits your individual learning style and available timeframes. You finish this stage knowing exactly where you’re going and how your book will deliver value to the reader and to your business.

Our recommended first step: attend a planning workshop
Our 1:1 workshops give you hands-on support to articulate your message, test your idea, and build the core components of a strong, commercially aligned book plan.

Author Testimonials

Hear from authors who transformed their ideas into books.

Explore how founders, CEOs, coaches, and thought leaders have transformed their expertise into bestselling books and used those books to grow their businesses, expand their influence, and deepen their impact.

I had the idea to write a book for some time but, being a busy financial planner, could never find the time to put my thoughts onto paper and to turn it into a written form. I also had no idea about how to produce and publish the book and so I was a little in the dark as it was all outside my skill set.

I would have no hesitation in recommending that any aspiring author should use the Write Business Results service that Georgia provides as it is both effective and value for money.

Max Horne
Author - The Money Instruction Book,

Thanks for your efforts, getting the book launched and the message out. We sold just shy of 100 units in August, which is amazing for just 10 days. We’ve also received four 5* reviews on Amazon. If I can sell 500 units by the end of the year I’ll be very pleased and if I can sell 1000 by next summer, I’d judge it a success. Having said that, this book could feasibly be selling for years so I will take a long term view on sales numbers and 3,000 units within 5 years would be a good result.
